Ask ANY respectable academic teacher what the best way of ensuring correct and disciplined study prior to an exam is.
Their answer will always be:
This is one of the key reasons why all successful IELTS follow a study timetable/plan.
If you don’t follow a structured study plan, you will miss vital parts out or simply run out of study time before the exam. Therefore, you are likely to underperform and have to retake the IELTS.
That’s the reason we have developed a range of plans depending on how long you have to prepare for the IELTS.
Generally, we recommend spending several weeks studying, learning and honing skills prior to sitting the test. This way, you have plenty of time to cover everything.
8 weeks is a reasonable amount of time, although you can’t be complacent. You will still have to study most days, if not every day (to some extent). You also have to allow enough relaxation time, so it can get a little tricky to balance these correctly. We cover everything in this plan for your convenience, though.
It contains everything you need to guide your revision on a daily basis. A full, 8-week break down, day-by-day. So you can breathe a sigh of relief and regain your focus without having to worry about how to study.
But, BE QUICK – the longer you wait, the less time you have to prepare!
Worried that you don’t have enough time to study? The study plan has been designed to make efficient use of your time to maximise your production.
This plan gives you the certainty that you are studying all topics in the writing section of the IELTS along with indications of what you need to do in the other sections.
The plan is linked to our task 1, task 2 and practice question Writing eBooks. It tells you exactly which pages you should be learning on which days. Therefore, there’s no guesswork – you know you are doing it right!
You can print it at home, use our suggested guide or use the plain template to add your own personal touch to it if you wish.
This study plan is extremely affordable. It is a great investment and provides you with a huge amount of success if used correctly.
You can download and save this timetable on any device and carry it around with you at all times. Want to study during a work break or commute? Easy! Just refer to the study guide and see what you should be revising that day.
